picture this

Me, pecking away at a borrowed iPad, grudgingly admitting that the touchscreen keyboard is not that bad and that the scrollability is actually pretty handy, marvelling at the lightness of the gadget and that it can be used when my lap is already occupied by a feline. Such is my screen time for the next week or so while my real computer is at the hospital.

But oh how I miss my games. Newspaper sudoku is a good substitute, but sometimes you just need a little Minesweeper or Free Cell or Spider Solitaire.

Hope that you get your comfy home system back soon!

Me too, Chris! Especially since the work is starting to pile up and I have no way of doing it. On the plus side, the house is really clean.

I like the ipad but for writing, I'll take a keyboard and a big screen thanks

Then there is the whole issue of those files that you rely upon that are not currently available, Eugene.
Also I can't remember my wordpress password so haven't been able to leave comments at your place.

You might be surprised how mouth frothy it is getting around here, Jen.

Hope the computer will be on its way to you this week.

Tablets are friendly. As are smartphones. I'm rarely on my actual computer when I'm home anymore. It's kind of nice.

I can't see myself ever doing much writing on one of these, Al, but they are handy for staying in touch.
