Subject: You've Got To Be Kidding Me
Do you really think you have some sort of special corner in fandom as far as 'The Hour's Host is concerned ?? ... I should have known better then to ask you for anything regarding George S. even something as simple as an email address !
You have no excuse for not getting back in touch with me. Luckily for me.. I don't need your email response back to me anyway. Hah.
Whatev. lady. You're delusional !
There are bigger and more generous fans out there, then you can ever hope to be.
Peace out !

What??? Sinead O'Connor bailed?? WHAT????
That is quite the line-up - even I recognize some names!
No Loreena, though. :(
That's quite a line-up. There's even a little folk music thrown in, something rare these days for a folk festival. I'd love to see Justin Townes Earle. Reading a review here would be a good consolation prize.
Hopefully there won't be too many tears shed over the cancellation of Ms. O'Connor's show. Hey have you read her brother's novels? The Star of the Sea is an excellent start but they're all great.
She cancelled her entire tour, WC. Understandably, as she has bipolar issues to deal with.
No Loreena, but I am sure somebody else will bring boxes and boxes and boxes of merch this year.
I'm looking forward to seeing Justin Townes Earle as well, Mr Anchovy. I'll keep you posted.
I didn't even know SO had a brother, let alone a novelist brother. Thanks for the tip!
Joseph O'Connor may be the best writer in Ireland. The first one I read was The Salesman...intense but great. I think the latest is Redemption Falls...challenging but I loved it. Star of the Sea should be read first.
That line-up is RIDICULOUS. I recently started getting into Justin Townes Earle, and that guy is seriously something special. Can't wait for your show reviews!
Blackie and The Rodeo Kings and Whitehorse...2 of my faves from Birds Hill F.F. last year. What an outstanding lineup! Lucky you, Barb!
Berni
sounds spectacular
oops Kelly
Thanks, Mr Anchovy, I will certainly add Star of the Sea to my reading list. I trust your judgment.
I've only heard a wee bit from JTE, BAP, but sure looking forward to some more indepth musical exploration. You can rest assured I will bore your ear off.
I know! I'm totally blessed, Berni. I'm really fond of Whitehorse too - Canada's new power couple.
Looking forward to it, Kelly!
