resting on our laurels otters

Normally you'll find us sitting across from each other at the kitchen table, or eking out preferred real estate on the chesterfield, instead of perching side by side on a carved wooden otter. But after 23 years of wedded bliss, you've occasionally got to mix things up a bit.

Happy Anniversary, Spousal Unit! Let's see where the next 23 take us.

61 years today. That is how long my parents have been married. 61 good years too. Pretty amazing.

Happy Anniversary and enjoy the ride on your next 23!

61! Man, we are rank amateurs obviously, Toccata! A hearty congratulations to your parents! That's exhausting, just thinking about it!

Happy Anniversary! The otter is a nice touch!

Thought maybe you were missing the wilds of Manitoba (or northern Ontario where you went for your honeymoon) with that otter and the natural background. Congrats on your anniversary - typical remark but I remember when you got married - it snowed a couple days after.

Thanks, ! Just practicing for my next life as an otter...

The sad part of that was that it was southwestern Ontario and not southern Manitoba, Kathy. This is what happens when you choose a sketchy time of year to get married.

Otters always make me smile too, Al, even when I don't get to sit on them.

Thanks, Lesley! I'm sure it will pass like it's a mere 19 years!
