one week ago

we were setting up inside

Olenka and the Autumn Lovers were setting up outside
(bonus points if you can find Evan's sock)

and then, ladies and gents, we had a concert

until it was time for the road warriors to get some shut-eye

Did the lawnmower kids show up and do a "Soy Bomb" dance?

Sadly, no Dylanesque moments (of that nature, anyway) transpired, John. I was more fearful that they would show up naked and start racing lawnmowers around the yard, but they evidently left town.

Lovely pictures Barbara... Thank you so much for sharing. Curious though, do the Lovers now have an assigned wing in Casa del Zombie?

What a great tradition you've started! I will make it to one I promise.

Love the last one.

Great pictures, and video! Hopefully I'll be able to make it to one eventually.

Technically speaking, YOU actually started the tradition, Sean, or at least you were the instigator to it all. And I fully expect you to attend one day and own up!
The Lovers have full run of Casa del Zombie - no wing assignment required.

I will save a giant glass of wine and a crashing spot for you, Al.

I love your backyard (it is the backyard, yes?). That backyard was born to host house concerts! You better keep the tradition going until I'm rich enough to drop by for one someday.

The backyard actually works better for house concerts than it does for dining al fresco, BAP. I may need to consider replacing all meals with shows.
