we claimed our beds
found some toys at Market Collective
baked our annual batch of subversive shortbread,
remembering of course to represent the Hasidic Jews
ate our greens
defended our Christmas presents
settled our brains for a long winter's nap
and some other stuff that we forgot to document.
How did you stay out of trouble this past week?

It's non stop fun at your place!
Sounds a lot like our place, except of course, for your brother.
Great pics! I was wondering if you guys had done your shortbread baking this year. They look delicious, too!
I should have documented our holiday activities better this year. Next year, next year.
There was also a rash of board game playing, Dr M, but that was undocumented. I wish I had gotten some photos of those game faces, though.
Did he not eat his greens, Kathy? I'm pretty sure he did the napping part...
We did do shortbread, Al. I was really impressed with the decorating that the Spousal Unit did. His cookies actually look really pretty!
Sometimes you have to decide between living your life and photographing it.
I think you forgot "plotted evil," which is what every cat does all the time.
I ate so much I couldn't get out to cause any trouble, that's what I did. And am continuing to do.
I didn't abscond with a cat from my parents which would not have been trouble at that end but at this end, well .... I may have averted a calamity.
Enjoy spoiling the pet at Christmas, any time, actually!
True, but they are so cute while doing so, Beckeye.
Oh me too, Dale. I am getting really good at (over)eating.
Your puppies would have had fun with that, Leazwell! Rest assured the family pet has been proper spoiled, as I am sure yours have as well.
