if you have five seconds to spare

Perfect jewel-box houses were visited. Story pitches were accepted. Offspring found short-term employment. Cars collided in parking lots. Computers were removed and returned. Interviews with second-graders were arranged. Kitties settled into families and indulged in joyous bursts of run.

It's been a crazy couple of days.

Wow.

I just made a shitty lasagna and saw a bear!

I did neither of those things, WC! You also got some great photos of that bear, and I seriously doubt the shittiness of your lasagna.

completely unrelated to this post. I was in an Edmonton toy/card shop yesterday and spotted a toy you need which led me to this..

That was one eventful week. All I did was remove Comic Sans font from all the work computers.*

It was either that or have me continually keep screaming Serenity Now! Serenity Now!

*and by last week, I mean today.

We must book a coffee date, UB, and delve into the details then. Also I just want to have coffee with you sometime.

Very pretty, Kelly, and functional too! I particularly like the moonwalk option.
What were you doing in Edmonton?

Not only did you perform an essential mental health service with your Comic Sans removal efforts, you made the world a safer place, Al. Never underestimate the importance of that task.
I used to work with a secretary who typed up all her drafts in Comic Sans. She also used to print off every copy and keep it too, but that's a whole other story...

Stupid dumbass family business that had to be dealt with. It was actually in Lloydminster area but flights out of Edmonton.

Is comic sans bad?

I hope you got everything sorted out, Kelly. Comic Sans is evil. No, not really, just uber lame.

I am impressed at the eventfulness of your week. All I did was paint my fingernails. Again. I almost wish I had my short-term employment gig back.

But what colour did you paint your nails, BAP? That's the important factor in this equation.
