marking the calendar, buying the wrist band

My goodness, there's a man in one of those pictures with blood all over his face...and another without any clothes on....just what kind of festival IS this?

Very, very impressive Barb! This lineup looks amazing. It's the diversity of the bill that is truly great though.

What an adventure this will no doubt be for you and the entire Zombie clan... Now if you would be willing ot accept a boarder for a few days... ;) Kinda makes my paltry folk fest look like a paltry folk fest!

Keep us updated.

Andrew W. K.? I'm soooo jealous!

It's a debauchery fest, Mr Anchovy! We like a little debauch with our music around these parts.
The dude with the blood is Andrew WK from his rather iconic album cover. Wonder what his mom thought.

You should come and see the non-internet site for it, Gifted. You'd love it.

Well, if you can find a way to get here, Al, you know you've got a place to call home. Looks good, doesn't it?

Your room is ready for you, Sean. You really should not pass up the chance to go to Sled Island, you know - there's art, film, and comedy as well.
I still think that Hillside looks pretty great too.

I did not know you were a fan, Karen. You should absolutely come down for the festival!
Gee our house is starting to fill up now, but whatever.

I'll admit not recognizing many of those. Nardwuar turns me off more than the others (the ones that I recognize) turn me on.

Barbara Bruederlin said...

Oh right, I forgot you had a major Nardwuar hatred, John. Shall I assume I don't need to pick up a wristband for you, then?

Very much looking forward to Sled 3.0 as well!! Can't wait for the "next round" of artists announced on June 1 as well.

Barbara Bruederlin said...

Agreed, Smansmith! Sled Island has been one of the best things to happen to this town in years.
