television that doesn't suck

You know I have officially stooped to a new low when I start waxing on about television commercials, but I challenge you not to be immediately charmed by this Discovery Channel commercial. We actually get the Canadian version on our Discovery Channel, and while both versions are equally heart-warming, ours is slightly more bad-ass because it's got Jay Ingram. Sing-talking.

Stick around and tomorrow I may just tell you all about the paper towels I use. I tell you, some days it's so exciting to be me, I cannot stand it.

Why do you think we keep reading this blog? It's because of your exciting life. We live vicariously through you.

That one is actually cute, unlike the Bombardier commercial (shown during the olympics) that had all the peoples of the world singing the Canadian National Anthem and the last guy saying in a heavy accent "Catchy tune"

gaaagggggg. meeeeee.

haha well if you love hearing about my television watching, you're just going to plotz when I tell you about laundry day, Dr M. The excitement levels are insane.

I know that Bombardier one had some fans, Gifted, but the cuteness was a little forced. The only thing cuter than the Discovery Channel one would be a pair of otters.

I have actually seen this posted on blogs before, so you're in the know. :) Very cute though.

I can't get the damned song out of my head now, Al. Ohrwurms should not be allowed in advertising, it's unfair advantage.

I saw that on TDC here, too.
Good stuff!

BTW, did you git yer package yet? I mailed it 2 weeks ago today. I wonder what I put in it? I taped it up, like, 6 months ago. It's prolly full of embarrassing crap. I sweartagahd if the canadian post sends it back to me a second time, I'm going to come unglued!

Now, you're in Montreal, right? *hyuk*

Shut up, Kelly! Or I'll come over there and stick a snowball down the back of your neck.
Actually it's really nice again today after the touch of fall yesterday. So you are forgiven.

I really hate to tell you this, Phlegmmy, but no, I haven't received your parcel yet, nor any delivery notification. Jesus christ on a cracker, you sure do have issues with our post office. I think someone there had something personal against you.
Although perhaps it will arrive on Monday. We don't get weekend deliveries.

I love the giant squids, myself, Just A!

You should see me watch tv sometime, Bridget. It's an exercise in endurance.

Wonderful commercial - reminds me that there are nicer and more fun things in life than what we hear about on a daily basis through newspapers and on TV.

Nice Find. :)

I actually find myself watching the Discovery Channel more and more all the time, Todd. LOVE Mythbusters!
