name that blogger

It's contest time here at Zombie Central. And about bloody time too, I hear you muttering.

I am multi-tasking with this contest, because not only am I time-stressed these days, I am also lazy. So this contest is functioning as both a shout out to my
über-generous blog friends, and a chance for you to test your knowledge of their personalities (or perhaps just make some damned lucky guesses).

Pictured here on my coffee table are the plethora of goodies I have received from some dear blogging buddies over the last little while. Insane amount of goodness, innit?

Here's the deal. Match the following gifts to the sender, email me your answers to
bbruederlin at shaw dot ca
and the smartypants with the most correct answers wins a much coveted Zombie gift.

Ready? You have until Wednesday at midnight to wow me with how well you know the idiosyncrasies of the peeps on my blogroll.

I don't know about the rest, but I'll throw in my guess for the Irish spray thingy from Jen. :)

I'll plotz if she sent you the Radiohead cd...

hey, you're gonna be here in a couple of weeks!!!!!

Look at all your swag!

I'm laughing at the Irish Accent mouth spray, that's brilliant!

People sent you all that stuff??? Daaaammmmnnn...

I really can't tell which stuff goes with which blogger, but to answer your previous question; yeah Radiohead's Innovation Award was actually a last minute category, and it made me go "Huh?" because Panic at The Disco were also fellow nominees. And no, I did not attend the gig, although a friend did swipe a freebie off the radio, and she did not even tell me until the day after the awards. Heaven knows who she gave the extra tickets to. I am SO not getting her a birthday present this year.

Bloggers love you, they really love you.

I'm guessing Dr. Monkey sent you the Irish accent spray - it looks very retro.

And I'm shocked to realize I don't think I've ever sent you a care package. Sweet Jesus on a cracker! What's wrong with me? I'm embarrassed and ashamed. Please forgive me.

Interesting guesses, Mish. Two weeks to the day we will be landing in your fair city, cap in hand. I am SO excited! I have to start hounding you about when my mangy bunch can meet your beautiful family.

I roared when I saw that mouthspray myself, Al. I'm afraid to try it though, because what if it is permanent and I have to become a cop in Chicago or something.

I was pretty overwhelmed by all the swag too, BAP.
PATD were nominated for the Innovation Award? For what, creative use of eye-liner? And how dare your friend not immediately think of you to get the extra ticket. For shame!

It's mutual, Dr M, it really is!

It is quite retro, Karen, particularly the sweater vest, I think.
You have sent me lots of stuff! A Tom Jones cd, which made me laugh and laugh, and a 30 Second Bunnies fridge magnet, which graces my fridge to this day. I just used goodies from this year, though, or my coffee table would have collapsed.

I know nothing. But that is some sweet booty!

(Ha. Sorry, still in pirate mode.) :)

Jees, people must really like you zomboid.

I'm guessing that Espanya sent you A Spot of Bother because, well, you know what she's like

Wow, that's quite the collection Barb :O) Bloggie prezzies ARE the bestest for sure! I think it's the only time I get something that's not a bill in the real mail! I won't play the game, cause that would be cheating hehe!

Barbara Bruederlin said...

Pirate mode is welcomed around here, Justrun, even though it makes us insanely jealous that some people (ahem!) get to live the pirate life.

hahaha, your guesses have been logged into the data base, Gifted. I will not delete your entries because it gives others something to ponder. Consider the contest heightened, rather than wrecked!

You don't have to play, Mel, but you are more than welcome to email your answers if you like. Being one of the gifters just gives you a freebee answer.
I know what you mean about blogger gifts being the only good real mail anymore. And I am listening to the Alan Cross guide right now, Depeche Mode - crazy bastards!

Its fun knowing what you sent, and I know Mel and Will's as well...and I think a few others.

Entertainment, I say!

That is a sweet postcard, I am sufficiently filled with envy :)

Tanya Espanya said...

Snort. I totally don't remember which book I sent you, BB.

Mellowlee, did you get yours yet?

I know Monkey got his.

GT, you'll be getting yours next week!

Tanya Espanya said...

Allison sent the Malaga postcard.

Monkey sent the Johnson city postcard.

I remember now what I sent you - once I clicked on the picture and it got bigger my memory was jogged. Woof woof.

I like how that tin of chocolate looks, who sent that?

Barbara Bruederlin said...

You are well informed on the sending habits of mutual bloggy friends, Al. This could serve you very well if you decide to enter a ballot.

That Matt Good postcard< Stephanie? Isn't it great? And homemade by a very talented blog friend. Any guesses who it was?

Allison did indeed send the Malaga postcard, Tanya Espanya, except that wasn't one of the questions, ya doofus. She also sent that tin of chocolates which not only looks great, but tasted so as well. Sadly, they are all eaten.
It's good that you can id your own gift haha!

URBAN BLONDE said...

I don't get it? Where is the diamond tiara I sent you? You didn't pawn that sucker for the Radiohead tickets did you?

Barbara Bruederlin said...

I actually still have it, Urban Blonde, and wear it on the elliptical, whilst singing Dancing Queen.

Gifted Typist said...

Wait a minute, is this like kick backs or something.
Is this like the Sponsorship Scandal of the blogosphere?

Barbara Bruederlin said...

It's almost exactly like that, Gifted. Will you be willing to serve on the investigative committee?

justacoolcat said...

You just made this post to point out that I haven't sent you any gifts. I hear you.

Barbara Bruederlin said...

That was my sole purpose, JustA, to point out your shortcomings.

~Jen~ said...

im so sad i didnt see this!!!!!!!!!!!!! i would have been able to pick what i sent hahahaha

Barbara Bruederlin said...

You would have tied for second and won a fabulous prize, too, Jen.
