cherry blossoms and lung butter

I know it's blurry as hell, but I couldn't face another attempt at holding the battery door closed on the camera with both hands whilst attempting to snap a picture with my elbow. It's lovely though, isn't it?

This is a beautiful time of year here, after the threat of spring snow storms finally abates and before the August droughts turn everything brown and brittle.

Even though I am coughing up little bits of lung with every breath and my voice sounds like a rusty old freight train screeching to a halt, I cannot feel bad on such a glorious day.

And we're going to see a baseball game later! It's been forever since I've been to a pro ballgame, especially a day game at an outdoor ball park. Bring on the hot dogs and beer.

The picture doesn't look blurry to me, very nice. Its been a lovely day here as well, hard to stay inside, weather just built for wandering.

I hope you're able to keep the coughing to a minimum and enjoy the baseball game and the street meat (hot dogs just in case that wasn't obvious).

That is a very lovely tree :O)

I hope you feel better soon, and enjoy the baseball game! I've never been to one myself. I think it would be fun!

The tree is mucho purty. We have ones that look like that over here, but I'm not sure what they're called.

And feel better soon!

The father and son team who were seated beside me ended up leaving after 4 innings, Al, even though I tried to keep my hacking to a minimum. But I wouldn't have wanted to sit next to me either.

Baseball games are ACE, Mel! Perfect way to spend a summer evening.

This one is a some sort of cherry or plum tree, BAP. It's completely covered in blossoms today - that picture does not do it justice.

Barb Your tree is gorgeous. I would love one on my property. I am curious as to what brand of camera you use though, sounds complicated? Just so I don't buy the same one.

I think it's best until your entire lung is coughed up until we meet! Just a thought! ;)

That is a beautiful tree. It makes me wonder what you'll cough up next.

Yes, cherry blossoms are stunning, as are lilac blossoms that are happening in my front yard. Not blurry here either

It's not so much the camera, Urban Blonde, as it is the fact that it was dropped once and the battery door now needs to be taped shut.
I am 100% in agreement that we wait until I am no longer spewing disease-laden lung bits everywhere before we meet for coffee.

Some pretty bit chunks have been coughed up today, JustA, although not quite tree-sized. I shall just refer to them as twzbuts.

Where did you find the non-blurry type of trees, Gifted? I must plant some. Our lilacs are finally starting to bloom too. It's getting right smelly around here.

Beautiful colors!

They are purdy, aren't they, Phlegmmy?

As I watch that video I think those Swedes can't escape the influence Ingmar Bergman.

Pretty Tree. Feel for you with that cough. I've got the same thing. Seems it's never going to dry up. Hope your feeling better soon.

You are so right, Leazwell! That's what it's been reminding me of! Thanks.

Hope you're feeling better soon, too, Sunflower. They're nasty when they drag on like that.
