a few quick zeds and we are out of here!

I can't believe that they actually have flights departing at 6:00am. Who the hell thought that would be a good idea? I'm a fairly early riser, but 2:30am is a trifle on the ridonculous side. I guess I'll be napping on those uber-comfy airport chairs during our 3 hour layover in Vancouver.

But who am I to be bitching? I'm going to California! Three nights in San Diego, four in San Francisco, and no rain forecast.

I'm chuffed about having dinner with the lovely and talented team of Will and Hillary. Pictures shall be taken and you will all be jealous of my bloggy meetup.

Oh, and I am bringing the laptop with me after all. At the last minute I went out and bought a case so I could schlepp it along. It cost half a jillion dollars, but at least now I won't be totally out of touch. The things I do for you!

I won't be around the blogs a lot, but I will pop in and out. So be nice to each other, share your chocolate bunnies and I will be back to harassing you before you know it.

Happy Zombie Jesus Day!

have a lovely trip, baby! We'll be looking forward to the road report.

I quite agree about the idiocy of early flights. I mean, wtf!?!

I think its wise that you decided to bring the laptop, here's hoping you find free WI-FI wherever you go!

Safe and happy travels, can't wait to hear about all the adventures. :)

Hey, if you decide to head up to Long Beach (about 90 minutes north of San Diego), contact me. We have the Queen Mary and a decent aquarium, sure. But we also have tons of dive bars with cheap cocktails and mucho taquerias with delicious $1 tacos.

Have a great time and the Liquids on a Plane cracked me up. Don't mess with customs, security or Sam Jackson, we need you back!

I think it's a plot whereby the airlines bribe the travel agencies to fill those early flights, Phlegmfatale. Tis the only possible explanation.

Calgary airport has way nicer bathrooms than Vancouver airport, 668. These are important distinctions.

You were right, Kelly, and they make you do your own customs clearances now. What's with that?

No free wifi at Vancouver airport, surprisingly enough, Al, not that we could pick up anyway. San Diego's a different story though.

Mega-oodles being had as we speak, John!

We've already take about 7 gazillion pictures, Gifted and that was just on travel day!

You don't know how tempting that is, Moxie! I would love to do just that, but sadly we're going to be scrambling just to see everything already scheduled.

Oh man, I would never mess with Sam Jackson, Dale! He is one bad-assed mofo!

damn, damn, damn....had I known you were here for 3 hours I would've dashed down and had a quick visit..I'm all of 15 minutes away from the airport. And today I had NOTHING to do until 4. Blew that one, didn't I?

I'm so glad you decided to take your laptop! Vacation posting as it happens YAY How was your stopover in Vancouver?

Barbara Bruederlin said...

No, I blew that one, Deb, but somehow I assumed Richmond was quite a ways from Vancouver. I dunno. As it turns out, we never left the secure area anyway.

The Vancouver stopover went fine, Mel, it was surprisingly brief after dealing with US customs and such.

I slept in to 10:20 AM Sunday morning in honour of your upcoming lack of sleep.

You can thank me later! ;)
