music secrets

Sometimes when I am exercising, this song comes on, and I get all distracted and start pretending I'm one of the back-up singers. Except I've got way better moves, if I do say so myself. None of this swaying and clapping sedately; I'm more into twitching around like Bobby Gillespie there, minus the scissor kicks. Less hand clapping as well, because I am too busy doing my patented rave moves.

And now you know.

I think Thom has been watching too much Dr. Who. For crying out loud, somebody help him out of the tardis so we can have supper.

Speaking of Thom...I saw the video for "Street Spirit" the other day, but I had it on mute because I was listening to something online. (I like to binge on media.) Anyway, I never saw the video before and I was looking at it and before the name popped up, I was like, "Who is this...Clay Aiken?"

Ha ha ha...I thought you would appreciate that. C'mon, you can't tell me that opening shot of him from behind, with the Aiken-esque hair couldn't fool anyone! I swear I'm not just saying this to hurt you.

That leader singer has some killer dance moves...I could see you shaken your bootie centre stage with him. No one puts Barbara in the corner.

Oh, wow, that was great. I'm trying to imagine myself doing that on the elliptical. Surely it would result in death. Well done you for accomplishing such a task.

Now I'm going to go watch the video again. Great song to start the day of with.

Okay, skinny guy with spiky hair shot from behind, I'll give you that Beckeye, and accept that you are not trying to rip my heart out.
But the more important question here is, what were you doing muting a Radiohead song? That's blasphemy! I will pray for your soul. (Pretty cool video though, eh?)

Bless your heart, Karen but you have obviously never seen me dance. Pretty scary stuff. In my mind though, I'm amazing.

Oh god no, not the elliptical, Al, I'd break my neck, sure as shooting. Fortunately Movin On Up shows up later on any workout mixes, so I'm doing weight at the time. And yes, I put the weights down first.
It's a great song though, isn't it? A real Monday morning one for me.

Oh I am so glad I'm not the only one who pretends to be a backup dancer on a regular basis.

You too, Justrun? Whew, I feel so normal now!
