Let's get the party started!

I just finished writing 567,876 Christmas cards! I'm done!!

Now I'm going out for supper. It's the man's birthday tomorrow and tonight we are taking him for a big-assed steak (mmm, ass steak, my favourite).

If you need inspiration to push you that final mile or two in your Christmas chores, head over to Rewriteable Content, where they have posted a grand Christmas Mix of mp3s. I owe them a latte or something.

May you get your groove on.

oh oh oh! (since it's not quite ho ho ho) -- Jer's b-day is on the morrow!

Mmm. steak. The Big Man gets a cosmic porterhouse from me, served medium with a steaming baked potato, buckets of REAL bacon bits & hand churned butter, & a massive cake decorated with the words:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FROM BREMERTON!

in the Flames' colors. :)

goddess, you got your cards done. I still have to buy mine. I almost did today, I really did! Alas, I didn't. Tomorrow is my deadline, tho. I will have handcramp the likes Hemingway would cry at.

happy evening Barbara!

That's a lovely one; they have some nice songs on their site don't they, Toccata? Did you listen to the Belle and Sebastian one? Stuart Murdoch makes a lovely choir boy.

Did I mention that I ran out of stamps, Kelly? I obviously can't count that high.

hahaha Michelle - I do hope you find that groove today. I actually think I've finally got mine happening.
I've passed along your aewsome birthday message to Jerry, and he thoroughly enjoyed it! And thanks for the reminder that I have to pick up a cake today!
May the handcramp goddess look kindly upon you.

Happy Birthday to Jerry!!! Enjoy your cake, etc today.

And an extra whoohoo for getting all your cards done! My goal is to be as productive today as yesterday, so I won't feel guilty about watching Christmas Vacation tonight. Have a good day :)

I will pass along your birthday wishes, Allison, thanks.

I wish you a hella-productive day so you can really enjoy Christmas Vacation tonight.

I am really looking forward to it!

That's a whole hell of a lot of Christmas cards! Color me impressed.

Okay I may have exaggerated slightly on the numbers, Will, but it was still pretty impressive. And that's how many it felt like I had written.

My cards have been sitting on the coffee table all weekend long. I have them stamped and addressed, and all I have to do is write in them. Glad you got urs all done!!! Thanks for the link. Some real nifty Christmas tunes there!!!!

Barbara Bruederlin said...

Those tunes might help you get in the spirit, Mel,just like your great Christmas Punk cd helped us get the tree decorated today. It rawked - thanks a bunch!

You motivated me to do mine, so they are done and ready to be mailed tommorow. Mine you, I only had 20 to do, not several thousand, but it was enough. I could afford more stamps, even if I could count that high! lol!

Congrats on your cards and tree, and thanks for the motivation...

Steffi

Yay, glad to hear you got yours done too, Steffi. That's the thing with motivation, we all pass it around, don't we?

Oh lawks I haven't even started my xmas cards yet. Eeks. Panicking now...

Barbara Bruederlin said...

No need to panic, Kees - you are a student and I think it was Toccata who declared that students aren't expected to send cards (rightly so).
