IM N UR BLOGGER, CORRUPTING UR SPELLING

(^ it's a .gif - click on it to see the show^)

I love the IM N UR cats.
That phrase has insinuated itself into our lexicon in a big way, here in the Zombie household.
Every day, it's "IM N UR STATE, MARRYING UR GAYS" or "IM ON UR COUCH, CONTROLLING UR REMOTE".
Good for any occasion.
Know any good IM N URs?
---
Passive aggressiveness has been given an unjust bad rap, as far as I'm concerned.
It can be a very effective tool, if used properly.
I excel at it.

The look on that first cat's face is priceless! Sniping Santa's naughty elves. Perhaps if they gave that kitty what he really wanted for xmas last year, he wouldn't have gone postal.

I can go for that! Good show.

That slideshow was great! Love the cat in the radiator.
I know no good 'In URs', I don't think I've ever used/heard the phrase before. Of course, now I'll have to try and work it into a sentence for tomorrow, as I do with all new findings.

haha! Let that be a lesson to all of us, Karen: get the cat a decent present.

They're fun, eh, Leazwell? My kid finds these things constantly.

hahah Heatin its harbls! I love that one too, Allison, and the one in the fridge eatn ur foodz - love the crazy eyes on that one.
Be careful, talking like that becomes addictive.

That slide show was such a nice treat after work. I loved the cat in in the pocket! And a cat as a sniper, too funny.

IM N UR Blog, Reading UR Posts

Yes I'm aware that this couldn't be lamer.

Barbara Bruederlin said...

I needed something like this after work as well, Toccata. I'm so glad some people spend their time dreaming up stuff like this.

Not lame at all, Stephanie. It just proves the point that this can be used for any occasion. I'll bet the Queen says it all the time.

I figured I'd take the Ballboy talk here, and not litter The Record Room board.

I just found the song on itunes, its great. I think you put a track on the mix you sent? Well, I'm going to have to search out more stuff because I like what I'm hearing.

Music is like a never ending abyss. But an abyss lined with desserts from the Food Porn site ;) Those Cran Orange muffins are heavenly.

You are so nice for not hijacking the Record Room with Ballboy chat, Allison! You should write a blogger ettiquette book. Actually I pitched that idea to a magazine once, but they didn't bite.

Aren't Ballboy great? Their music is really hard to find in Canada though, so I'm thinking of ordering some online. They have podcasts on their website too, which I've never figured out how to listen to, but I think they sound fun - a few songs and a lot of Gordon McIntyre talking.

It is hard to keep from falling into "the abyss lined with desserts from the Food Porn site" - haha great analogy. But what a way to go.

A blogger ettiquette chapter, in a larger book on blogging could work. Well, at least I think it could. Then again, I'm not in charge of any mags...yet.

We should talk. Or has this been brought up before? Frankly, I'm too lazy to search archives at the moment. But I've been toying with this idea for awhile now. OK, back to actual work.

Barbara Bruederlin said...

You see, Allison, great minds thinking alike and all that...

You are good at coming up with the IM N URS, Mel! I guess having a stinky wet cat can be very inspirational (as can the Nyquil).
Hope you're feeling better soon - get lots of sleep.

Weren't it, Will? Those cats slay me and I've seen them about 365,876,876 times.

Is this a Canadian thing? We don't have an "IM N UR" craze yet, but I can't wait.

Barbara Bruederlin said...

I don't know, JACC. I think it may actually just be in our house. But feel free to use these at will in the Cool Cat household.

Barbara Bruederlin said...

You should have told me, Mel - I would have gone shopping for you.

Ahhh, a nice warm apartment in a storm sounds pretty great right about now, Mel.

Aren't those great, Kees? I'm so glad there are so many twisted and clever folks (and cats) on the internetz.
