No pictures, eh? How about Viking Kittens, then?

Blogger is being a bit of a whiny arsehole and won't let me post any pictures, so I will show you some of Eva's high art photos of the Folk Fest tomorrow, along with some select highlights and lowlights, as seen from a zombie perspective.

In the meantime, please enjoy the Viking Kittens do the Immigrant Song. I'm going to read the paper.

Valhalla I'm COMING!!! LOL. That was great. At my highschool we were the Northern Vikings, I'm so going to pass this link on, thanks!

hahaha it does rather, doesn't it, Mellowlee? And then you'd have a viking wreaking havoc on your keyboard and knocking over all your pencils and such.

Our only goal will be the western shore, Allison. Maybe they'll change your school mascot to kittens! That would be rather cool.

I loved it. Posted it for students I used to teach. They will go nuts!

Damn blogger ... I hate it when they get in that no photo mood. Oh well, at least your page is nice and colorful.

that was so cute. I have been without power since yesterday 6pm... what have I missed besides blogger being in a no pic mood?

Oh sure, Leazwell, corrupt the students! Those kittens are pretty fierce, aren't they?

I notice other people have been posting pics though, Will. I finally posted through Bolt.

Kees, when in doubt, go with the kittens, I always say. Led Zeppelin is bonus.

I heard you were without power for a long time, Barbara W. Obviously it's back now. Did all your food go off?

Awesome pics Barbara. You should send your thorough report to the organisers.

Is Eva OK, ouch painful ?

I knew BSS would be good. I didn't know Neko Case had dropped out.

It's got my festival juices flowing, and my favourite "The Reading Festival" is coming up in just over 3 weeks. Can't wait.

I've never been to a festival where everyone sits down. Very leisurely !!!

I actually do plan to sned something to the organizers, Ben. They did such a great job. I must get on that...

It's sensitive around hear mentioning Neko Case dropping out, as she has snubbed Calgary twice this year now (also not touring with the New Pornos). We are starting to take it personally.

The Reading lineup looks AMAZING!!
It is a complete who's who of music, innit?
And Belle and Sebastian! I have to see them before I die. Is Reading larger this year because of the cancellation of Glastonbury or is it always that great?

I've never been to Glastonbury because a lot of the acts play at Reading.

Yeah it's going to be jam packed this year. Weekend passes sold in week. I'm not camping this year after last years debacle with my brother but we're going for one day (Sat)

Ben, I'd love to hear about last year's debacle sometime! Sibling spats make for good entertainment when you are not directly involved.
It looks like a good lineup on Saturday, but on Friday you'll miss Franz Ferdinand, Kaiser Chiefs, Yeah Yeah Yeahs! How sad! Mind you, you'll also be missing Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco and Dashboard Confessional, so it all evens out haha.
