Load the kids into the car and come on over!
It's my
blogaversary
and you are all invited to join in the festivities!

One year and 322 posts later and I still can't shake this monkey off my back.
Actually I rather like it there.
Don't forget to bring a stick for roasting weenies and marshmallows with.

Aw. I remember when I first saw this blog, it was yah high (holds hand to a relatively smaller height than that of myself). Now it's all grown up and ready to leave the nest, go off and see the cyber-world...

That's my way of saying HAPPY BLOGAVERSARY!

You keep on blogging, and I'll keep on reading :)

Let me be the second to say...
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've only been reading for a few months now, but I look forward to it everyday. And thanks for all the support you've given my blog.

Thanks Rob - you were one of the first people I got to know on the blogosphere. I always enjoy visiting your place and having you come to visit mine.

Thanks Will. I look forward to reading yours every day as well, along with all the other amazing things you are doing. You are going places.

Happy Blogaversary! (And I hope you are on the mend sooner than later. )
I started blogging in late January and I probably "met" you a month or so later. Since then, you have become one of my favorite blogmates. Many more posts!(clinks glasses)

Aww thanks, Jacquie. I love reading your blog too - you have such a sassy approach!

I started my blog 6 months ago and found you via the blogtracker on The Hour's site (thanks to Jeremy). I think you were one of my first blog links...
You are my favorite blogger!
Happy blogaversary!

only a year....u seem like an OLD PRO! well done...im still laughing at the silly balloon guy haha

Thanks Michelle - you even brought champagne! Yo didn't need to bring anything, but sure I'll have a glass. Meeting you and the GOB has made it all worthwhile.

hahah Barbara W - I still remember the comment you left on that piece I wrote about getting a hug from George. You asked if the belt buckle left any marks and without thinking, I checked!
You sure are great at rounding up people. Hats off to you.

lolz Allison - Mother blogger, haha! It's great because I get to boss people around. I sure am glad we all got to know each other.

Thanks Stephanie - I remember when you had your blogaversary - I'm still trying to catch up to you!

Thanks Mellowlee, I'm so glad have met (so to speak).

I'm enjoying your blog too, Kees. One day I will even decipher the cryptic lyric - that's a fun idea.

hahah Sarah - that George and his Sharpie - look what they have started!

You got the old part right, Jen! Yours was the very first blog I ever linked (well after Matt Good), and I remember it well because Matt had said on his blog that he was going to be touring and you left the comment "that gives me a boner!" Naturally I was intrigued (and still am).

Thanks Evelyne, I'm really glad that blogging gives me a chance to meet people like you.

That gin and tonic looks divine Leazwell. I sure hope you brought enough for everybody!
You're going to the east coast in the fall, aren't you? I am so jealous!

Okay Kelly, we heard you the first time - no need to repeat yourself.
The jig is up now that Jen and I are both here. You need to be taught a lesson, young man. Any suggestions, Jen? Horsewhipping? Noogies?

Barbara Bruederlin said...

Nah, he'd probably enjoy that too much. But you are definitely on the right track.

Ah, it's good to be home again. Back to my Favourites list and the ability to jump from blog to blog to blog. I was only gone for 2.5 days, but I went through Stroumbo-girl-blog withdrawl!

So now that the normalcy has returned...

HAPPY BLOGAVERSARY!!!

Barbara Bruederlin said...

Thanks Alana! Glad to have you back home. Nothing like your own computer, is there?

Ben Heller said...

Barbara,
I tried twice yesterday to leave a message of congratulations, but blogger kept throwing me out.

Anyway, well done, and here's to another great year with your blog.

I'd come and give you a hearty slap on the back but I know I can't do that.

kelly said...

you and jen are devious....and what did i do?....nothing

chuck said...

Happy, Happy BLOGAVERSARY!

And many more!

Barbara Bruederlin said...

Thank you Ben, and bless you for trying so hard. What on earth did you do to anger the great Blogger so? For Blogger is vengeful.
I appreciate the non-backslap, but a cautious hug would be appreciated.

Kelly, if you don't know, I'm not evene going to tell you. But beware if you ever get your own blog...

Thank you Chuck, it's meeting folks like you that makes it all so fine.
