I hope his soul is at peace. Many good and positive vibes to you and your family, Barbara.

(((hugs)))

Thanks for the good thoughts, Michelle. We're having perfect weather here for a day off, so I'm putskying around outside, poking at the garden, just like my dad would have done. And the rhubarb is coming up!

We little knew that evening
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
You did not go alone
A part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide
And although we cannot see you.
You are always by our side.
Our family chain is broken
And nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one
The chain will link again.

I, as well, hope that his soul is in peace.

That's beautiful, Barbara W. Thank you. Papa even gets a poem; he'd be pleased.

Thanks for your kind thoughts, Jas.

Barbara - He's with you always. In your heart, your Soul and he's watching over you, and I know he's smiling because he's proud of you.

Thank you, Ben. That's so very kind of you. I hope I made him proud, anyway.

I borrowed that poem from the obits page in The Gazette one day. I put it on my blog. I just brought it over here for the occasion. I just knew it would be right.

Barbara Bruederlin said...

You read the obits?

Barbara said...

My mother reads them then she lets me know if anyone we know died. That day a friend of the family died.

Barbara Bruederlin said...

I'm sorry to hear that.
Thank you for bringing the lovely poem over.
