words shapes shadows
Eva - thanks for posting this birthday wish for your sister! (She looks a lot like you) You are now my offical backup blogger.
Sputnik looks so... fierce. I love it when a human can capture the animal in a pet, that takes a serious connection.Happy 8th Sputnik, many happy returns!
Is that cat in a bag?
Michelle, Eva is the photographer on that photo as well as the blogger, and she does have a serious connection with our wild kitty. She's the only one who is allowed to clean Sputty's eye boogers, for example.Barbara-mtl, I'm pretty sure she is. She is mad about bags; sometimes we have half a dozen bags strewn about the house. (and that's not counting Eva's stuff)
Between you and jen my gross-out vocabulary has grown by leaps and bounds. I have now added "eye booger" to the top of the list. You just beat out jen's "lung butter."Eva's picture is excellent, she really encapsulated Sputnik's basic feral nature. That takes serious talent, give that girl a Nikon!
You have a cat named Sputnik? That's the greatest name for a cat I've ever heard!
Thanks Andy! We stole it from an animated tv show that we used to watch called Captain Star. One of the characters had 37 consecutive cats all named Sputnik: Sptunik1, Sputnik2...
I have a ton of cat names and cat love and no cat right now (one large dog and small apt). I can't wait to have a cat again someday..He's beautiful and a great pic too. Animals are very hard to photograph well, I find.
Thanks Jacquie. (he's a she actually) I hope you get to have tonnes of cats soon to give those great names to.
Very cool design! Useful information. Go on! » »
