George Stroumboulopoulos Does Not Smell Like Sharpies
For more details on my latest encounter with the man and my experience of being at the taping of The Hour, please check out my guest-piece on the blog at Calgary (dated Feb 9/06).
Take a look around while you are there, if you are interested in anything related to our fair city - music, sports, politics, dining, festivals and events. It's even got a current weather thingy!

Excellent piece Barb. You have such an incredible way with words! I believe you should be doing reporting...perhaps leaping into journalism once your current career fades? I am sure, with your talent, there are magazines out there that would pick you up in a second! You are amazing, and inspiring!!!

Love you,

Bev

Get your finger out of my face Teddy! Seriously, I love that weather thing!
Michelle, you called me a celeb, Jen called me a groupie - I like yours better, although hers is probably closer to the truth...

Congrats on your fame and glory Barbarella!!!!

Great write up, Barb!

I agree with Kellee on I don't mind the smell of Sharpies - especially if the guy is that cute!

And as per our conversation other day, I don't mind living in TO if I am married to Georgy boy!! ;)

Kellee and Jas, you guys are hilarious. I'm sure George would be gratified to know that the threat of Sharpie-smellingness would do nothing to detract from his appeal.

for what it is worth, I don't think the smell of Sharpies would be a turn-off (think of what terrible things men could alternatively smell of).

I'm with you, Ruhee! It wouldn't have bothered me one bit. Especially after my recent conversation with Neil - uh, never mind you are too young to listen to that.
